What's the difference between ZipTrak and a Folding Arm Awning?
ZipTrak is a track-guided screen that fully encloses an outdoor area, sealing it against wind, rain, and insects. Folding Arm Awnings extend out from the wall to provide shade without fully enclosing the space, making them ideal if you want sun protection but not full enclosure.
Can ZipTrak Screens be used all year round?
Yes. ZipTrak is designed to protect your outdoor space in every season, from blocking wind and rain in winter to providing shade and insect protection in summer.
Do Outdoor products need council consent?
Most of our Outdoor Screens and Awnings don't require consent, but this can depend on your specific property and local council rules. We're happy to discuss this during your consultation.
Can I operate my Outdoor Screens and Awnings without a remote?
ZipTrak uses a simple manual spring-balanced track system with no chains or pulleys, so it can be operated by hand. Motorised options are also available if you'd prefer remote or app control.
