Shutters

Shutters provide excellent light control and privacy for windows where wall space is a premium. Custom made to fit inside the window frame they hinge to allow access to the window with options of bi-folding so two shutters fold back together.  

Large elliptical blades give a solid clean look to a room and when painted to match the jamb or wall colours, blend with the décor so the window isn’t a feature but is functional in providing filtered light.  

Wood stains are an alternative where there are wooden ceilings and architraves to retain the continuity and warmth of timber. A combination of, drapes on large windows and doors, with shutters on smaller windows blend well together.
